I feel the need to close my previous xanga blog,
but whenever i look back i pause and quiver that little.

cold feet
We've both have been in this long enough,
enduring melodramatic squabbles,
racing heartbeats and suicidal attempts.
Silly it sounds - but true.
Wicked it is that relationships torment us,
it breaks my heart to carry on fighting,
wanting everything to be so righteous -
cos reality is abstract and cloudy.
It's so hard to say you're wrong,
it's so hard to swallow that ego.
Two hearts beating, in love, but hurt.
They say time heals all wounds.
Please heal us soon.

Milestone

Today marks a milestone of my life at work,
it was as if time was playing nasty tricks on me.
I've been hard at work since April and
the year has almost reached closure.
There is a mighty difference between reaching for
the impossible and realizing what you are capable of.
What is revealed at the end crosses between the two.
I've had my share of optimistic up days when the work
flow is good and i perform well and the dreaded days
that leave me burning in angst and regret,
as i look at myself mess up.
It was never easy, no one said it would be.
However, I am still here.
Always present, always resilient.
And I am definitely feeling accomplished.
I feel something in me that my gut can't point out,
neither can visuals or word trace the outlines of my thoughts.
But as i take my well deserved holiday break this year.
I've quite so learnt that I've matured.
